The Installation Process of Industrial Carpet Tiles

Before you purchase your industrial carpet tiles or office carpet tiles, measure your room to figure out the number of tiles that you need. You can use the calculator on various carpet tile websites to calculate how many tiles it is you need. When you receive the tiles which you can purchase as discount carpet tiles, check the back to make sure the same colour tiles are from the same batch.

Have a picture or a graph made that depicts the design that you want. Have the same amount of squares of pieces that you are using and place the letter of the colour that goes into that spot if you are using more than one colour. When you are installing the tiles, use this graph as a reference.

Mark the centre of the room with a chalk line. Make sure these lines are straight and apply adhesive to the surface. Using the graph for reference, place your carpet tiles starting with the row at the centre of the room and moving outward. This will ensure that the tiles remain straight in the main area of the room and any cuts that need to be made can be done at the edges. Press firmly on the tiles to bond them to the adhesive. When you get to the edges, cut the tiles as necessary with a utility knife and line them up with the wall or other barrier.

Keep any extra tiles for later on in case you need to replace one. If there comes a time where one is damaged or stained, remove the tile and replace it for another one. No extraordinary care is required for these tiles. Clean and maintain as you would with other carpet. This whole installation process does not take a long time and is quite simple even for the inexperienced.
